Hailing from a well connected show biz family, Mario enjoyed an early life surrounded by the glitter and shimmer of celebrity jewels. His fascination with artistic elegance led him to leave Rome in his early 20s to study gemstones in Antwerp, Tokyo and other major cities. It was in Tokyo that he discovered his passion and fascination for South Sea pearls.
